Just about everybody wants to get married. But look how it turns out for most. How many marriages that seem to be making it do you think are really happy? I don't know the answer either, but I know a lot of couples I meet with professionally don't look like they are an unhappy couple; they keep it private. I also know that nearly everyone who is contemplating marriage thinks that won't happen to us. They hope for a beautiful connection that evolves into a sweet and loving family; they allow the grand feelings of new love and faith to replace common sense practical steps that would insure success.

Faith and good will isn't enough. Just ask anyone who has been married awhile. It's not easy when you don't know how.

I am dedicating my life to sharing the principles of marriage in order to slow and eventually stop the trend that is destroying our country. "Lessons For a Happy Marriage" is suited for those who are at the end of their rope. I am in the process of writing "How to Find Your Soulmate" and then I have two more foundational books to write; one for newlyweds and one for those who are in a shaky marriage. The next step is to move this basic material into our schools.
